Resolved Question: co/administrator passed away Ca, Ventura County?

My brother-in-law and I were appointed administrators of my mother-in-laws estate. he, my brother-in-law passed away last week. I need to know what form I am to prepare and file with the court to let the judge know of his passing, and appointing myself as the sole administrator. I have already completed, a couple times over, an intensive search within the courthouse forms, along with an internet search. I am in the state of California, Ventura County.
